General Information

Please note that this Privacy Policy may be updated frequently.

Welcome to Privacy Blast. Privacy Blast and PRIVACYBLAST.com are collectively referred to as "Privacy Blast." At Privacy Blast, we appreciate the trust you place in us when you choose to visit our website and we take that responsibility seriously. This Privacy Blast Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use personal information about you when you visit our website.

Your continued use of Privacy Blast constitutes your agreement to this Privacy Policy and any updates.

What Information We Collect

Device and browsing information, including information about your phone, tablet, computer, or device, and online browsing activity (collectively, "automatically collected information"). Like most website operators, Privacy Blast collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available. Automatically collected information may include IP addresses, unique device identifiers, cookie identifiers, device and browser settings and information, and Internet service provider information. Automatically collected information also may include information about when and how you access and use our website, such as the date and time of your visit or use, the websites you visit before coming and after leaving our website, how you navigate and what you search for using our website, the website pages and items you view using our website, and the items you purchase.

How We Collect Information

We collect information on our website. We also obtain information from you and from third parties. Specifically, we collect and obtain information:

From using automatic collection methods. For example, we and third parties we work with may collect information from the computer, tablet, phone, or other device: that you use to access our website; or that you use to open an email from us. This collection includes automatically collected information, and generally does not include personal information unless you provide it through our website or you choose to share it with us. Methods we may use include:

- website log files (which we tend to create automatically in connection with access to and use of our website); and

- other technologies (which may be similar to or different than the methods noted above).

From purchases and downloads using Gumroad. We use Gumroad to process purchases, downloads, and transactions, including taking payment for the products sold through this site. All transactions are processed through Gumroad, and no payment details are stored by us. All of your payment information is tokenized and encrypted in a PCI compliant ecosystem through Gumroad, and you can learn more what that means here. We also use Gumroad to send emails, including your receipts and invoices, and updates on your product. Gumroad stores our customer lists, and our records of who has downloaded or purchased which products. Any information Gumroad collects when you visit my site is not available to me, and you can contact Gumroad to view or delete any information that they have. You are not required to create an account to purchase.

From anonymous analytics using Plausible Analytics. On Privacy Blast, we only use the Plausible Analytics script that allows us to collect analytics information in order to gain insight about our visitors in general. We do not store analytical cookies on your device. Plausible Analytics does not track individual users and does not store any personally identifiable information that could be linked with a particular individual. Go to their documentation to find out what Plausible Analytics collects (and more importantly what they don't). Instead of a cookie with a unique user ID, Plausible Analytics simply counts the number of unique IP addresses that access Privacy Blast to determine the visitor count. To further enhance user privacy, Plausible Analytics does not store the raw visitor IP address in database or log files. Plausible Analytics runs the IP address through a one-way hash function to scramble the raw IP addresses and make them impossible to recover.
